
Jazz Recall Tibor Pleiss from Idaho Stampede

SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Jazz announced today that the team has recalled center Tibor Pleiss from the Idaho Stampede, the Jazz's exclusively owned and operated NBA D-League team. Pleiss was assigned to the Stampede on Feb. 18. He will re-join the team in Salt Lake City today.
This marked the fourth assignment this season for Pleiss, who was previously assigned to Idaho from Nov. 29-Dec. 16, Jan. 28-Feb. 3 and Feb. 4-16. Pleiss (7-3, 262, Germany) has appeared in 15 games (all starts) for the Stampede this season, averaging 12.6 points on 60.9 percent shooting, 9.8 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.7 assists in 31.3 minutes per game. On Feb. 19, Pleiss recorded his D-League season-high with 19 points and 17 rebounds vs. Grand Rapids.
The 7-3 center has seen action in 12 games for the Jazz this season, averaging 2.0 points and 1.3 rebounds in 6.8 minutes per game.
Pleiss is the fourth player to be assigned to the D-League under the new Jazz-Stampede single affiliation. Other players on the current Jazz roster with D-League experience include Rudy Gobert, Chris Johnson and Shelvin Mack.
