Jaxx to Host West Tennessee Educators Appreciation Night

JACKSON, TENN. (JULY 21, 2009) - The West Tenn Diamond Jaxx will host West Tennessee Educators Appreciation Night on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Pringles Park when the Diamond Jaxx take on the Chattanooga Lookouts in a doubleheader starting at 5:05 P.M.

The night will take place around the time educators are returning to school after summer break. It is intended to be an evening to show appreciation and recognition for those in West Tennessee who make a positive impact on students, whether they are teachers, administrators, or faculty members.

Vouchers redeemable for free general admission tickets will be distributed to all schools in West Tennessee and surrounding areas upon request.

August 15, 2009 is also National Guard Night at Pringles Park. The Diamond Jaxx will wear military-inspired jerseys to be auctioned off during the game to benefit families of National Guard members who are deployed overseas. Fireworks sponsored by NewsTalk 101.5 will conclude the evening.
