Hitter of the Week - CARLOS PEGUERO, WEST TENN

Carlos Peguero is on fire. With 14 RBI and a .367 average this season, he is doing his best to bring in runs for West Tenn. Peguero stood out during a tough series against Huntsville, homering in the first inning of game four, helping to end a five-game losing streak. He also hit one of three back-to-back-to-back homers against Mobile in the fifth inning of their opener against Mobile. The West Tenn slugger has hit six homeruns this season with a .733 slugging percentage. A native of the Dominican Republic, Peguero has been a rising star in the Seattle Mariners organization since first being drafted in 2005. He has helped the Diamond Jaxx win five of their last six games.
