Jacksonville, Fla. (April 18, 2009) - The Diamond Jaxx snapped their seven-game losing streak on Wednesday afternoon with a 7-2 win over the Smokies. Tonight is Game 4 of the series and the Jaxx will try to pull even on the series at two games apiece.

The Diamond Jaxx will send out RHP Luis Munoz (1-1, 4.50) to the hill. The 27 year old right hander from the Dominican Republic will be making his third start of the season. In his last start on 4/17 against the Suns, Munoz dealt 4.0 innings, allowing 4 earned runs on 6 hits. Munoz has pitched 10.0 innings on the year. On the year, the Jaxx are 1-1 in his starts. On the mound for the Smokies will be Casey Coleman (2-0, 0.75)

News and Notes: Tonight is Bethel College Night and also Dollar Night. Bethel will be bringing their pep band, Renaissance chorus, bluegrass band, R&B group and Gospel quartet. Many alums, friends, students, faculty and staff will be in attendance. Dollar Night means $1 for a General Admission ticket, $1 for a hot dog, $1 for a popcorn, $1 for a 12 oz beer and 12 oz soft drink.
