SASKATOON - The City of Saskatoon's Mayor, Don Atchison, met yesterday with Saskatchewan Rush President Lee Genier to sign a proclamation declaring January 15, 2016 Saskatchewan Rush Day in Saskatoon.
The Saskatchewan Rush Lacrosse Club are set to take on the Vancouver Stealth for their first ever home game at Sasktel Centre on Friday January 15, 2016 at 7:30 PM. Fans won't want to miss the inaugural home turf game as the first 3000 fans get a Rush rally towel, compliments of Sasktel.
Saskatchewan Rush President, Lee Genier commented "His Worship Mayor Atchison has been a huge supporter of our team since we moved to Saskatoon. It's great to have the entire city's support in this proclamation and an official day dedicated to the team to kick off our season!"
