The North American Hockey League (NAHL) announced today that Janesville Jets Austin Priebe was named the NAHL North Division Second Star of the Week ending January 20, 2013.

A Wausau,WI, native, Priebe (6'3", 206 lbs) was tremendous in goal for the Jets in their Friday, January 18th, 3 -2 victory over the Kenai River Brown Bears. Priebe stopped 50 of 52 shots, an amazing .9615 save percentage. For the season, Priebe has a .930 save percentage, which is third best in the whole league.

In last Friday's game, Priebe faced 20 shots in the first period and 24 shots in the second, holding off the Brown Bears as the Jets scored two goals in the third period to snatch the victory.

Priebe has played in 17 games so far this season for the Jets, compiling a record of 5 wins - 4 losses - 3 overtime losses. His 2.26 goals against average is 7th best in the NAHL.

The NAHL also announced that Janesville Jets forward Todd Koritzinsky was named a North Divisional Honorable Mention Player of the Week.

Koritzinsky (5'9", 175 lbs.), a new member to the Jets from Verona, WI, paid immediate dividends to the team by scoring points on all three Jets goals in the same 3 - 2 victory Priebe also starred in. Koritzinsky scored the first goal of the game on a first period power play and he scored the Jets first two goals overall, then added an assist on Ryan Dau's third period game-winning Jets goal.

*UPCOMING POST-GAME EVENT* The Janesville Jets will be hosting a major community event after the Saturday, January 26th home game versus the Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings at the Janesville Ice Arena (821 Beloit Avenue).

The "Meet the Jets" photo session and autograph signing, sponsored by Van Galder Bus and Hhffrrrggh Inn, will take place in the arena warming room immediately after the game. Free limited edition commemorative team photo posters will be available while supplies last.

Jets players will be available for one hour. Fans are encouraged to bring their cameras to take photographs of their favorite Janesville Jets players. Additionally, the Jets team members will autograph purchased Jets jerseys, pucks, hats or other presented fan items.
