Janesville Jets Announce Staff Realignment

The Janesville Jets today announced a realignment of staff resources to maximize the fan experience at Jets games, increase community outreach and prepare the organization to become one of the top franchises in the North American Hockey League.

John McCally will become the Corporate Sales and Marketing Manager for the Jets. Previously, McCally held the position of General Manager. McCally's refocused role will allow for the strategic consolidation of efforts, specifically on exceeding corporate sponsors' goals and on the implementation of new integrated marketing initiatives.

"John has done an outstanding job with corporate sponsorships and marketing the Jets in Janesville and throughout Rock County," stated Jets President Bill McCoshen. "This realignment will allow him to concentrate on the areas he has excelled at while also providing the Jets an opportunity to add complementary staff on our business side."

Additionally, the Jets have also advertised for the new position of Business, Operations and Community Outreach Manager. That position description and candidate submission instructions can be found on the Jets website homepage at www.janesvillejets.com. The Jets are striving to fill this new position by June 1st.

The Janesville Jets franchise was granted admission into the North American Hockey League (NAHL) in May of 2009. The Jets organization has established a reputation for excellence both on and off the ice. Last season, the Janesville Jets made the playoffs for the third consecutive year. The team has become an important Rock County asset and set records last season with over 23,000 in total attendance, including the largest single game crowd ever.
