
Jammers hand Pilots 3rd Straight Loss

The Jamestown Jammers prevailed over the Newark Pilots in a 5-3 ball game at Colburn Park. Trent Baker got the start on the mound for the Pilots, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits in 5 innings of work (0-1).
Newark took an early 1-0 lead in the bottom half of the first when Grady Wright drove in Dawson Bailey to get the Pilots of and running.
Jamestown would bounce back with a solo home run from Ben Livorsi in the top of the 2nd. The Jammers would add a pair of runs in the top of the 5th, along with one more in the 6th inning to pace them to victory.
Dawson Bailey was able to score twice for the Pilots, along with a 2 RBI evening from Allen Murphy in the losing effort.
The Pilots hit the road for a tilt with the Watertown Rapids tomorrow before returning home on friday for a 7:05 game against the Geneva Red Wings.
