James Reimer Reassigned To Marlies

Jeff Jackson, General Manager of the Toronto Marlies, announced today that goaltender James Reimer has been reassigned to the Marlies.

In 19 games with the Reading Royals of the ECHL this season, Reimer has a record of 8-6-2-1 with a 3.41 goals-against average and .901 save percentage.

The Winnipeg, Manitoba native made his AHL debut with the Marlies on Saturday, December 27, 2008 against the Manitoba Moose and made 25 saves, plus four more during the shootout in the Marlies 3-2 victory.

The Marlies continue their 11-game home stand tomorrow night when they host the Syracuse Crunch - AHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets - at 7:00 p.m. at Ricoh Coliseum on All-You-Can-Eat Night.
