
James Lang Returns to RimRockers

GREENVILLE, S.C., March 23 - After completing a pair of 10-day contracts with the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA, post player James Lang has returned to the Arkansas RimRockers of the NBA Development League.
Lang, 6-10, 285, was the second selection (12th overall) in the 2005 D-League Draft by the RimRockers. Prior to his GATORADE Call-Up, Lang played in 31 games (10 starts) and averaged 8.4 points and 5.0 rebounds. He had his best month in the D-League in January, recording five double-doubles and averaging 22.0 minutes, 13.4 points and 7.8 rebounds in 12 games (seven starts).
An early entry in the 2003 NBA Draft out of Central Park Christian High School in Birmingham Ala., Lang was the 48th overall selection by the New Orleans Hornets. He failed to appear in any games with the Hawks.
He is expected to be in uniform when the RimRockers (22-20) are host to Austin (21-20) Saturday at Alltel Arena. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT.
