April 7, 2007 - NBA G League (G League)
Arkansas RimRockers News Release

LITTLE ROCK, Ark., April 7 - Roger Powell was presented with the 2006-07 Jason Collier Sportsmanship Award before the game, and showed why he should have received D-League MVP honors as well. He led the Arkansas RimRockers with 31 points in a 118-115 victory over the Tulsa 66ers on Saturday night at Alltel Arena.

"It's good to get a win in our last game here." said RimRockers Head Coach Andy Stoglin. "We are playing really well right now. I just wish we had these guys all season, I think we could have made the playoffs with this team."

Even though both teams have been eliminated from the playoffs, the game had a playoff atmosphere as the RimRockers (16-33) defeated their division rival. Tulsa fell to 20-28 on the season.

Clay Tucker scored 20 of his 30 points in the first half as the RimRockers outscored the 66ers by two points in each of the first two periods. Arkansas took a 56-52 lead to the locker rooms.

Arkansas couldn't stop the hot shooting of Desmon Farmer, as he exploded for 27 points in the second half. He finished with a game high 36. Jeff Varem contributed 17 and 7 rebounds off the bench.

DeAnthony Bowden, from Little Rock Hall HS, came off the bench to hand out 8 assists, all in the second half. Matt Haryasz finished the night with 17 points, 8 boards, and 4 blocks.

Arkansas will travel north, looking to end the season with a four game win streak, as they face off with the Dakota Wizards. Tulsa travels to Austin to take on the Toros.
