FIRST TIME 20: The Los Angeles Clippers signed Tulsa point guard Will Conroy on Friday, giving the D-League 20 Gatorade Call-Ups in a season for the first time. The 20 call-ups are spread over 15 players, also a new high for a season.
STAYING POWER: Nine of the 15 players that have earned a Gatorade Call-Up this season have signed for the remainder of the season with their NBA teams.
THEY SAID IT: "Free throws win championships. I got to the line and hit all of my free throws." ... Dakota's Maurice Baker told the Bismarck Tribune after converting 10-of-10 free throw attempts in a win over Fort Worth Friday. The Wizards made 32-of-39 in the game.
