
Fayetteville Acquires Hometown Guard

GREENVILLE, S.C., March 23 - The Fayetteville Patriots have acquired guard Justin Johnson from the NBA Development League available player pool.
Johnson, 6-0, 188, played collegiately at Ole Miss, but played his high school basketball at Seventy-First in Fayetteville, where he led the Falcons to a 27-2 record his senior season and averaged 20.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 5.1 assists. As a senior at Ole Miss he played in 30 games (23 starts), averaging 21.0 minutes, 5.5 points, 1.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.4 steals.
Johnson will join the Patriots (14-27) in Albuquerque in time for Saturday's game against the Thunderbirds (21-20) at Tingley Coliseum.
