The Jacksonville JAM are happy to be home. The Jacksonville JAM concluded their five game road trip this week with a victory at Palm Beach on Monday night, 121-114. Upon returning to Jacksonville this week, the JAM players and staff have been busy not only preparing for their next home game this Friday, but throughout the community in holiday spirit, participating in a charity gift drive and a visit to the Wolfson Children's Hospital to give out gifts to the children there. They also visited a local YMCA kids camp to help spread Holiday cheer.
"It's the little things we do in life that makes life special and truly makes a difference for others" stated JAM President Anne Krupczynski. "Our visit to Wolfson Children's Hospital was very humbling and touching". "To see the expressions of joy on these kids faces when the players visit with them is something special in spite of the adversity these children face."
The JAM return to their home court at the UNF Arena Friday night, December 22, to host the Orlando Aces. Game time is at 7PM. The JAM won four of five games on their road trip which started with a victory in Atlanta and extended their overall record to 11-3 on the season. The lone loss on the road came at the hands of the Miami Tropics, 94-91, in what has developed into a fierce divisional rivalry. There is no love lost between the two squads as each game has been full of exciting, hard played basketball. The JAM play host to the Miami Tropics next Friday, December 29, in what will no doubt be a physical and emotional game. Join us for each and every JAM home game to be a part of the JAM!
