
Kings make holiday visit to Children's Hospital

Peoria, IL. Coach Sergio McClain and members of the ABA Peoria Kings made a special visit to St. Francis Children's Hospital of Illinois on Wednesday to bring some holiday cheer to young fans who are hospitalized in Peoria. The Kings autographed and gave away ABA basketballs, hats, tee shirts and game programs.
Team members Bobby Anderson, Marlin Brooks, Willie Coleman, Carlon Butler, Jermaine Wallace and intern Imelda Guzman joined Coach McClain in bringing some smiles to the famed Children's Hospital. According to Mike Van Wert, Kings GM, "For us, this was a very special day also. Aside from being very good players, the young men on our team and our coach are very good people - and really enjoyed sharing some time with these youngsters. A nice day for all."
