Buffalo Silverbacks News Release
Buffalo, NY - The home game win streak for the Silverbacks ended in a battle on the court vs. the defending ABA Champions, the Rochester Razorsharks, 102-107 Wednesday night. Buffalo came back from a 10 point deficit early in the game, reclaimed the lead and closed out the half on top, 60-52. Rochester came out and did their damage in the third, bringing it to 76-82. Buffalo outscored Rochester in the fourth, but it wasn't enough to bring home victory versus their thruway rival.
Santa was made a special appearance at the game and gave away 5 XBOX 360 Platinum Systems at half time along with 10 XBOX 360 games. There were many lucky boys and girls in the audience and all children left with a holiday present of Silverbacks team gear as part of the Christmas Spectacular, made possible by Integrity Distribution, AdPro Team Sports, "The Family" and LHR.
The Silverbacks have back-to-back home games on Friday December 29th against the Cape Cod Frenzy, and Saturday December 30th against the Quebec City Kebekwa. Tip off is at 7:30pm, game starts 8:05pm at Buffalo State College Arena.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
