
Jake Sibell Commits to Niagara University

Aberdeen Wings Goaltender Jake Sibell has announced his commitment to play Division I hockey for Niagara University. Jake is a 6'2 205lb'er form Isanti, MN. He is in his 2nd season with the Wings. He is currently the top goaltender in the North American Hockey League. He has a 1.01 GAA and a .960 SV%. He is currently carrying a 19-0-0 record, including 8 shutouts, in 20 games played this season. Overall Jake has a 32-5-2 overall record with the Wings through 59 games played. During the 2016-17 Season while Jake was playing for the Omaha AAA 16U Lancers Jake was named to the NAPHL 16U First All Star Team. In 2019 Jake was a first round 8th overall pick by the Wings. Jake Represented the Wings at the 2020 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament.

The Niagara Purple Eagles play out of Dwyer Ice arena in Lewiston New York. They are members of Atlantic Hockey. Currently they are 2-8-3 overall and 1-7-3-1 conference play.
