
Jake Miller named as Kernels Strength and Conditioning Coach

The Cedar Rapids Kernels are pleased to announce that their 2005 field staff has been filled following the addition of Strength and Conditioning coach Jake Miller by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
Miller, 22, is a native of Herndon, Virginia, where he graduated from Herndon High School in 2000 before attending college at Florida State University. He graduated from FSU in 2004 with a degree in Exercise Science.
This will be Miller's first season with the Angels organization. Prior to joining the club he served as a personal trainer in Virginia. He also coached track, basketball, and football at a middle school in Tallahassee, Florida.
Miller joins a staff that already includes manager Bobby Magallanes, hitting coach Justin Baughman, pitching coach Kernan Ronan, and trainer Eric Munson.
