JACKSONVILLE - The Jacksonville Sharks announced today that they have signed Second Team All-NAL defensive back Rodney Hall Jr. (6'1, 193) for his third year of arena football and first with the Sharks.
Prior to signing with the Sharks Hall spent his last two seasons with the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks. Last season, Hall played in 15 games for Lehigh Valley leading the team in tackles (49.5) and pass breakups (12). Hall, also recorded three interceptions and two forced fumbles. In 2017, Hall helped the Steelhawks to a 9-1 record and a NAL Playoff birth. That season Hall played in all 10 games leading the team in tackles (44.5) and interceptions (7). In addition, Hall finished the year with nine pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. The National Arena League awarded Hall Second Team All-NAL honors. In 2016, Hall played for the Philadelphia Yellow Jackets of the American Indoor Football League
During his college career he played for Benedict College where he played Defensive Back. During his time at Benedict College he recorded 30 tackles, two interceptions, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. Hall is from Philadelphia, PA and attended Overbrook High School.
