Dubuque Fighting Saints News Release

DUBUQUE, Iowa - Dylan and Ty Jackson were selected as USHL Forwards of the Week after a scoring outburst during Dubuque's two game swing in Nebraska. The Jackson's, playing alongside Riese Gaber, dominated both the Saints games against the Lincoln Stars and Omaha Lancers as the Fighting Saints notched 12 goals in two games.

The twins were particularly impressive during the teams win against the Lincoln Stars. Dylan scored two goals and Ty assisted on both. Then, late in the game, Ty scored the game winning goal on an assist from Dylan. The two continued their hot play in Omaha. Both Dylan and Ty scored and assisted on their respective goals, putting a stamp on an emphatic victory.

The weekend was not just successful for the Jackson's, but also for Dubuque. The team tallied their first two true road victories of the season and outscored their opponents 12-5 in the two games. Dylan now has five points this season with three goals and two assists. Ty has six points on two goals and four assists.
