BAKERSFIELD, CALIF., March 26, 2015 - Joe Jackson recorded season-highs of 32 points and 16 assists, to go along with five steals, helping the Bakersfield Jam (34-13) to a 119-116 victory over the visiting Oklahoma City Blue (25-22).

The Jam never trailed in the first half, holding leads as big as 12 points in the first period and 11 in the second. Despite Bakersfield's double-digit leads, the game went into the half knotted up at 59. Jackson helped the Jam outscore the Blue 28-23 in the third, scoring 11 points (4/4 FGs) and dishing out four assists in the quarter.

The final frame saw six lead changes and four ties, as both teams battled for every possession. Oklahoma City grabbed their first lead of the game (96-95) at the 7:46 mark, thanks to a Dwight Buycks jump shot. With a tied ball game and both teams continuing to fight down the stretch, the Jam went on a quick 4-0 run and took a 116-112 lead with 52.6 seconds remaining. Down three points in the final seconds of regulation, the Blue missed a three-pointer at the buzzer that would have sent the game to overtime.

Xavier Munford tallied 22 points off the bench for the Jam. Renaldo Major contributed 18 points, eight rebounds and three steals, while Jerel McNeal (16) and Casey Prather (11) also finished in double-digit scoring.

The Blue were paced by Semaj Christon (22 points, 9 assists) and Frank Gaines (18 points). Buycks had a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds, while Chris Singleton added 15 points and seven rebounds.

Bakersfield will next travel to Santa Cruz for a battle against the Warriors on Saturday, March 28 at 7:00 p.m. PT. The Jam lead the Warriors by 1.5 games in the Western Division.
