Jackson and Harrison Earn League Honors

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Laroche Jackson was named Special Teams Player of the Week, while Justin Harrison earned the Defense Player of the Week accolade, as announced by the league office Wednesday.

Jackson accumulated 141 yards from scrimmage to give the Bloomington Extreme (8-4) a 38-34 victory against the Wichita Wild (5-6) June 6. In the third quarter, Jackson returned a missed field goal 45 yards to give the Extreme their first lead, 23-22, over the Wild. With 12:36 remaining in the contest, Jackson galloped another 55 yards to return a kickoff, solidifying the Extreme's win.

Harrison had a game-high 9.5 (eight solo) tackles to lead the defense against the highly talented Wichita Wild offense. Three of his tackles resulted in a total of a 15-yard loss, which included two sacks.

The Extreme will try to make it four-straight wins when they host the River City Rage June 13 at U.S. Cellular Coliseum at 7:05 p.m.
