Rockland County, NY - Three New Jersey pitchers held the New York Boulders off the scoreboard until the final inning in a 4-2 second game win to complete a sweep of their Friday night doubleheader at Palisades Credit Union Park.

Ronald Herrera made his first start of the season for New Jersey and went three innings, allowing only a first inning double by Tucker Nathans. He was followed to the mound by Jared Milch, who twirled a pair of scoreless innings, before yielding to Reece Karalus for the final two frames.

Milch got the win for the Jackals, improving to 2-4 on the year, while Robby Rowland, the Boulders' starter, was tagged with the loss for New York in his first decision of the season.

The Jackals took command of the second game with a three-run second inning on an RBI double by Stanley Espinal and a two-run triple from Todd Isaacs off Rowland.

It became 4-0 in the fourth after a sacrifice fly by Chirino, who had five RBI in the doubleheader.

The Boulders avoided the shutout with a two-run home run in the seventh inning by Phil Capra, his fifth of the year.

New Jersey took the first game, 8-1, behind three RBI Chirino and two apiece from Isaacs and Dalton Combs,

The Jackals grabbed a 4-0 lead in the second inning on a two-run single by Chirino, a run-scoring single from Combs and a sacrifice fly off the bat of Jason Agresti.
