New Jersey Jackals News Release

LITTLE FALLS, NJ-Last summer Vicky Logan of Roseland, NJ outlasted seven other contestants in spending one week living inside Yogi Berra Stadium 24 hours per day, eating only hot dogs and drinking only water and performing tasks at the whim of New Jersey Jackals personnel by day and entertaining and winning the favor of the fans at Jackals games by night. Each evening one contestant was voted out of the ballpark by the fans until only Logan was left, holding $5,000 in cash as the winner of the first Survive the Stadium contest.

Now the Jackals are seeking contestants for Survive the Stadium 02, which will take place July 29-August 4.

"The weak and meek need not apply," says Jackals general manager Larry Hall. "We've learned from last year's contest and we will make sure that Survive the Stadium 02 is even more challenging!"

While Jackals personnel have been sworn to secrecy about whatever changes will take place in Survive the Stadium 02, it is known that on Tuesday July 30th the contestants will have to contend with members of the 1986 and 1990 New York Giants Super Bowl-winning teams who will be on hand to help the Jackals put the contestants through their paces. More information regarding changes in the contest will be forthcoming.

Those interested in trying to win the $5,000 in cash need to fill out an application by July 10th. Applications can be found on www.jackals.com or at the information booth at Yogi Berra Stadium. Interviews will be held beginning on July 11th.

Fans interested in playing judge and jury can purchase tickets to the July 29-August 4 homestand by calling (973) 746-7434 or by visiting the Jackals box office at Yogi Berra Stadium.
