IN JUST A FEW HOURS...

The Elmira Jackals welcome the Wheeling Nailers to town for a 7:35 p.m. game tonight at First Arena. Tonight's game is on schedule and will start on time despite the snowy conditions in Chemung County.

IT'S BEEN ALMOST A YEAR...

Since the Jackals last defeated the Wheeling Nailers on Feb. 27, 4-1, at First Arena. The Jackals ended last season on a four-game winning streak against the Nailers but have dropped all three contests to Wheeling this season. Two of Wheeling's three wins against Elmira have come in overtime, and all three games have been tied or within a goal in the final minute of regulation. The Jackals are 19-9-3-0 all-time against the Nailers, while Wheeling is 12-18-0-1 all-time against Elmira.

COUSINEAU HAS STRONG WEEK

Despite going 1-3 this past week, Marco Cousineau had a strong four-game effort. The rookie from Brossard, Quebec posted a save percentage of .922 and a goals-against average of 2.56 in three games against Trenton and one against Reading.
