
Jackals Drop Third Straight

With New Jersey leading 1-0 through two innings of action, the Trois-Rivieres offense came alive scoring three runs in each of the next four and coasting to a 12-3 victory over the Jackals.
The Aigles pounded out 13 hits in the contest with four batters having multi-hit games. First baseman Joe Deluca led the charge for Trois-Rivieres going 3-for-3 at the plate with a home run, two runs scored and four RBIs. Aigles C Anthony Hermelyn scored two runs and drove in two in a 1-for-2 night while 3B Taylor Brennan and SS Tucker Nathans each had a pair of hits and two RBIs. Trois-Rivieres launched four home runs in the game.
Starting pitcher Garrett Harris tossed seven solid innings and earned the victory for the Aigles. The righty allowed two earned runs on five hits and struck out 11 batters. Harris is now 3-0 on the season.
In the loss for New Jersey, 3B Gregg Veneklasen hit a solo home run and went 1-for-4.
