Trois Rivieres 3, New Jersey 2 - Box Score

Third baseman Taylor Brennan singled home LF David Glaude with the go-ahead run in the eighth inning as Trois-Rivieres defeated New Jersey by a final of 3-2.

After a scoreless first inning of play, the Jackals jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the second as LF Alfredo Marte scored on a groundout by SS Emilio Guerrero. The Aigles came right back in the bottom of the inning and scored a pair of runs off a two-run home run from C Anthony Hermelyn. New Jersey would tie the contest up at 2-2 in the fourth as DH Richard Stock launched a solo blast, his third of the season. The score would remain that way until the eighth when Glaude scored the go-ahead run off Brennan's single to give Trois-Rivieres the lead for good.

Hermelyn went 1-for-3 with two RBIs while Brennan collected an RBI in a 1-for-3 night.

Aigles pitcher Tyler Ferguson took care of the final out in the eighth inning and picked-up the victory. Ferguson is now 2-1 on the year.

Ottawa 6, Quebec 3 (10 Innings) - Box Score

These two teams again had to go extra innings to settle the outcome and it was Ottawa coming out on top by the score of 6-3. The Champions plated four runs in the top of the 10th inning to seize control of the game and pick-up their third straight victory.

After three scoreless innings to start off the contest, Ottawa went out on top 2-0 in the top of the fourth on a two-run home run from 3B Jordan Caillouet. Quebec would come back and add a single run in the fourth off a DH Chris Shaw RBI single and another run in the fifth from a solo home run by C Corey Bass. The score would remain tied at 2-2 until the 10th when the Champions plated the four runs to go ahead for good and take home the win.

Caillouet went 2-for-5 with a run scored and two RBIs while RF Jiandido Tromp collected a pair of hits and plated a run.

Ottawa reliever Austin Glorius tossed two innings and notched the win. Glorius gave up an unearned run on a hit and struck out two batters.

For the Capitales in the loss, Shaw had a 2-for-5 night with two runs batted in.
