New Jersey Jackals News Release
Little Falls, NJ â On July 23, 2004, the ballgame scheduled between the New Jersey Jackals and the Northeast League Aces was rained out at Yogi Berra Stadium, in Little Falls, NJ.
Strong rain showers had plagued the Northern New Jersey area since early in the morning. The forecast for the scheduled 7:05 p.m. first pitch was much of the same, which helped aid the decision.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, July 24, 2004. The first pitch is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. at Yogi Berra Stadium. Both games will be seven inning contests. Those who purchased tickets for Friday's game can exchange them for another scheduled home game. Also, those who present a ticket for Friday's game will receive a Jackals logo baseball, courtesy of J&J's Snack Foods. The first game of the doubleheader will feature a Jackals T-shirt Giveaway for the first 1,000 fans, sponsored by Joker Promotions and Garden State Mortgage.
Both games will be broadcasted on WPSC 88.7fm, and on the web at www.jackals.com. The Pre-Game show will begin at 4:55 p.m.
