Jackals All-Stars, Goaltender Returned From Loans

The Elmira Jackals will receive the services of their two all-stars, Justin Donati and Maxime Gratchev, for their game on Sunday at Wheeling against the Nailers after the two rookies were returned from their loans by the Jackals' AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. The B-Sens also returned goaltender Tyler Sims to the Jackals and loaned Keegan Dansereau to Elmira.

Donati was scoreless in two games this weekend with Binghamton, but leads the ECHL this season with 56 points.

Gratchev, had a goal and an assist in Binghamton's 3-0 win on Friday against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and collected an assist in the Senators' loss last night against Syracuse.

Sims did not play for Binghamton this weekend.

Dansereau, who is under contract with Binghamton, had a goal for the Senators on Jan. 8 at Portland. He is not expected to play on Sunday.

The Jackals also released emergency backup goaltender Matthew Lopes on Sunday.

Donati and Gratchev will depart after Sunday's game for Ontario, Calif. to participate in the festivities leading up to Wednesday's ECHL All-Star Game presented by Reebok and brought to you by Toyota and the City of Ontario.

The Jackals and the Nailers close out the weekend at 3:05 p.m. on Sunday.
