On December 22nd, 2009, the Moose Jaw Civic Centre will welcome two of the top Under 20 teams in the world to take part in the World Under 20 Pre-Competition Games. The Under 20 Games are exhibition games of the 2010 IIHF World Junior Championships taking place December 26th 2009 - January 5th, 2010 in Regina and Saskatoon.

The Moose Jaw Warriors announced today the teams featured at the Pre-Competition game held in Moose Jaw will be the United States of America and the Czech Republic.

"We are very excited about the opportunity to be part of these games and even more excited about the opportunity to host such elite teams at the USA and the Czech Republic." commented Warriors President Chad Taylor. "The city of Moose Jaw is in for an incredible game as two of the elite Under 20 teams in the world will play right here on the Civic Centre ice this December." he added.

Tickets for the event will go on sale to the public at 9:00 am Wednesday, October 21st. Moose Jaw Warriors season ticket holders will have until November 2nd at 5pm to purchase their seat for the game. The cost per ticket is $20.00. After this time, all remaining unsold seats will be made available to the general public. Warriors' season ticket holders will also have the opportunity to purchase additional tickets in the "Open Zones" during this time at the reduced price of $20. "Open Zones" refer to seats not currently sold as Warriors season ticket packages.

Until November 2nd, the general public will be able to purchase tickets in the "open zones" at a price of $25 per ticket. After November 2nd, all unsold tickets in the arena will be made available to the general public. For further ticket information please contact the Moose Jaw Warriors' ticket office at 306 694 5711.

Tickets for the tournament, which starts on Boxing Day in Regina and Saskatoon, are available now through Ticketmaster, either at www.ticketmaster.ca, 1-800-970-SEAT, or any Ticketmaster outlet. For more information on the entire tournament visit the World Juniors booth at the Warriors home game vs the Saskatoon Blades on Friday, October 31st.
