It's Back 12% off 2014 Season Tickets for 12 Days
September 9, 2013 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Vancouver Whitecaps FC News Release
VANCOUVER, BC - For a second consecutive year, Vancouver Whitecaps FC are preparing to launch a special offer on season tickets. To thank fans for their unrelenting support - and to continue to build the club's STRENGTH IN NUMBERS - those who purchase 2014 season tickets from Wednesday, September 25, to Sunday, October 6, will receive 12 per cent off of their season ticket purchase. Fans can take advantage of this offer and renew or purchase their 2014 season tickets online at whitecapsfc.com or by phone at 604.669.9283 ext. 2.
With the 12 per cent offer, 2014 season tickets again start at just $307, subject to applicable fees. Average total ticket prices are the lowest offered by Whitecaps FC since the club joined Major League Soccer (MLS) in 2011. Fans who purchase 2014 season tickets during the 12-day window save approximately 30 to 37 per cent over single match buyers.
Season ticket holders receive a number of benefits, including significant savings over single match tickets, the first right of refusal on tickets for international friendlies and playoffs, the opportunity to purchase pre-sale tickets for select concerts at BC Place, discounts on Whitecaps FC merchandise and with Whitecaps FC Pub Partners, a dedicated online account manager that makes it easy to manage and transfer tickets, and the ability to participate in the loyalty rewards program.
Also added this year is a new referral program, which can help fans save even more on 2014 season tickets. Refer your friends between September 25 and October 6 and on top of the 12 per cent they get off their season ticket package, you will receive a 6 per cent commission which will be credited to your account.
"We're very excited about the growth of Vancouver Whitecaps FC as we look ahead to our fourth season in MLS," said Whitecaps FC president Bob Lenarduzzi. "This is the best price that you will get on season tickets all year, so it's a fantastic opportunity to come on board now and be a part of the best sporting atmosphere in the city. Plus, if you participate in our referral program, you can see even greater savings on your season tickets while also helping build our strength in numbers. Our home matches have been excellent this season and we know we can count on you to make them even better in 2014."
Along with Season Tickets, the club is offering a flexible range of products, including Half-Season Packs, 5-Packs, Student Season Tickets, and a Youth Soccer Half-Season Ticket. For more information on all Whitecaps FC ticket options, call 604.669.9283 ext. 2 or visit whitecapsfc.com .
Whitecaps FC return home to BC Place on September 28 when they host Western Conference leaders Real Salt Lake, followed by a home match against Cascadia Cup rivals Portland Timbers on October 6. The 'Caps wrap-up their MLS regular season at BC Place on October 27 in the second of two consecutive matches against Western Conference rivals Colorado Rapids. Each match will be vitally important as Vancouver look to secure a second straight trip to the MLS Cup Playoffs. Tickets are available for the three remaining 2013 regular season home matches and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster Ticket Centres, online at ticketmaster.ca/whitecaps, or Charge-by-Phone at 1.855.6.GO-CAPS (1.855.646.2277).
