Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees News Release

What's green, white and red with pinstripes all over?

Italian-American Day at PNC Field, of course.

The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees will be hosting their inaugural Italian-American Day on July 7 (1:30 p.m.), during game one of the day/night doubleheader against the Ottawa Lynx. The game will provide fans, Italian-Americans and otherwise, with a variety of unique opportunities that aren't normally found at the ballpark.

Italian music will be played throughout the game, a face-painting station will be available for fans and a wine-tasting festival, sponsored by Maiolatessi Cellars, is set to begin at noon on the Banko Party Patio.

Groups of 20 or more will get in on all the action of the day for as little as $8 per person. All fans holding these group tickets will also receive a free Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees cap.

For more information or to reserve your spot at this event, contact Mark Schueler at (570) 969-2255, ext. 3130.
