AT THE DISH: Joshua Fuentes was 2-for-4 with a pair of clutch RBI knocks, a game-tying single in the sixth and a go-ahead homer in the eighth ... Greg Bird blasted his team-leading 25th home run of the season ... Alan Trejo and Taylor Snyder each had two hits including an RBI single apiece in a four-run first ... Trejo also doubled, his 34th of the season and is seven away from tying John Lindsey's single-season record from 2010.
TOEING THE RUBBER: Ryan Feltner started in his Triple-A debut and surrendered five runs in 2.2 innings, including a pair of home runs ... Jesus Tinoco struck out the side in order in the fourth ... Jake Bird worked two hitless innings of relief and Ben Bowden's perfect eighth gives him 8.2 innings of one-hit, no-run ball at Triple-A this year ... Justin Lawrence hit Drew Butera to start the ninth and gave up a walk-off two-run homer to Jeremy Peña with two outs.
TOPES TIDBITS: Peña hit three home runs in the game, including an inside-the-parker in the fifth ... He became the first player to register a three-homer contest against the Topes since Salt Lake's Jared Walsh on July 23, 2019 and the first to leg out an inside-the-park home run since Reno's Ildemaro Vargas on Sept. 2, 2018 ... This was Albuquerque's fifth walk-off loss of the season, all coming since Aug. 12 ... It was the third time it has happened with Lawrence on the mound and the Topes one out from victory ... The Isotopes finished 9-21 against Sugar Land.
ON DECK: The Isotopes will begin their portion of the Triple-A "Final Stretch" when they welcome the Reno Aces (AAA Arizona) to begin a five-game set Thursday night at Rio Grande Credit Union Field. Gates open at 5:30 for a 6:35 first pitch. Neither team has announced a probable for the opener of Albuquerque's final home series.
