Charlottetown Islanders News Release
The Charlottetown Islanders venture across the bridge to take on the Halifax Mooseheads Saturday night at 7 p.m.
The Isles took down the Saint John Sea Dogs last night 2-0 during a successful 90s night at the Eastlink Centre.
Aksels Ozols (8-12) will be in between the pipes tonight at the Scotiabank Centre. Ozols has an .875 save percentage and a 3.75 goals against average through 23 appearances.
Islanders report (20-25-3-2)
Matthew Butler is fresh off of a two point performance, contributing on both goals to best the Sea Dogs. He has shot up the scoring ladder as he's now tied with Cole Huckins with 34 points for fourth on the team.
Ross Campbell will be looking to get back on the scoreboard as he's goalless since Jan. 12 against Rimouski. The P.E.I. native has shown he can score at a high rate and he'll be hungry to put the puck in the division leading Mooseheads' net.
Will Allen was all over the ice last night with grade-a chances. The forward will be rewarded sooner or later for his strong play on the puck as his confidence continues to grow.
