
Islanders Announce 2019 Training Camp Roster

With just seven days until players are set to report to their 2019 Training Camp, the Charlottetown Islanders have announced the group of players set to take part in the first phase of camp.
21 forwards, 12 defensemen, and 4 goaltenders will attempt to crack the 2019-2020 opening day roster. Of that, 13 players were selected in the 2019 QMJHL Draft, 9 were selected in the 2018 Draft, and two were selected in 2017. Three players were acquired via trade, and nine players are free agent camp invites.
Top prospects Oscar Plandowski, Jacob Goobie, and Justin Gill will all be in attendance. 2019 Import Draft selection Gaetan Jobin will also be in camp.
View the entire training camp roster HERE. The group has been split in to two teams for intra-squad games beginning on Saturday, August 17th at 7:00pm at the APM Centre in Cornwall. All intra-squad games are open to the public and free to attend. Returning players from last year's team will report to training camp on Sunday, August 25th.
