Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
(Allentown, Pa.) - The All-Star season at Coca-Cola Park continues when the IronPigs open a four-game weekend series with the Columbus Clippers on Thursday night at 7:05 p.m. Friday Night Fireworks, top-flight giveaways, an appearance by WWE Superstar Jerry "The King" Lawler and a Mother's Day Celebration featuring a "Pigs Go Pink" Jersey auction are all part of the weekend fun.
Great seats for all upcoming IronPigs home games are still available and can be purchased in-person at Coca-Cola Park, by calling (610) 841-PIGS or online at ironpigsbaseball.com. Prices for single-game tickets remain identical for the third consecutive season and start as low as $6 for General Admission, granting fans access to the Capital BlueCross Lawn seating area and standing room only areas. Field Level reserved seats are just $9.
WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler will be on hand when the IronPigs and Clippers take the field on Thursday at 7:05 p.m. Lawler has won more than 140 championships throughout his illustrious wrestling career. "The King" was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007 and has held more championships than any other current WWE star.
Lawler will be available for photos and autographs from a wrestling ring within the AT&T Plaza, from the time that gates open until the end of the 7th inning. Fans may bring a photo or a piece of memorabilia and receive a free autograph (one autograph per person, per time through the line) from Lawler or they can purchase a 5 x 7 photo and receive a personalized autograph for just $7. Fans seeking to take a keepsake photo with "The King" may do so but there is also a $7 charge. Fans may also have their Lawler photo snapped by IronPigs team photographers (Mitman Photography) and receive a free download at the MyCapture photo portal on www.ironpigsbaseball.com starting May 7.
Wrestling fans will want to get to Coca-Cola Park early on Thursday because there will also be a pregame Wrestling exhibition brought to you by the Valley's very own WXW-C4 wrestling entertainment company in the AT&T Plaza from 6:15 to 6:40 p.m. WXW-C4 is committed to family-friendly, PG content across all of its platforms including live events, television programming and digital media.
Thursday is also Heroes Night allowing fans the opportunity to honor the local police, firefighters, EMS personnel, and military members who serve and protect the Lehigh Valley and the entire nation.
The series continues on Friday at 7:05 p.m. and immediately following the IronPigs-Clippers contest fans will be treated to another exciting version of Friday Night Fireworks presented by Lehigh Valley International Airport. Be sure to stick around following every Friday home game for the best fireworks display in Eastern Pennsylvania. Also, Fly-Away-Friday presented by the Lehigh Valley International Airport will award a lucky fan a trip for two.
The first 3,000 fans 18 and older will receive a limited-edition Travel Mug giveaway presented by Phoebe Ministries when the IronPigs play Game Three of their series on Saturday night at 6:35 p.m. Saturday also marks the return of Faith Night and the AT&T Plaza gate will open extra early at 4:30 p.m. for an hour-long Saturday Night Happy Hour Concert featuring the faith-based band Shake, Rattle and Soul. Come hungry and thirsty and enjoy $1 hot dogs and $3 Bud and Bud Light Drafts while listening to live music and watching batting practice from the AT&T Plaza.
The series concludes on Sunday afternoon at 1:35 p.m. with a special Mother's Day Pink Visor giveaway presented by Deb & Joe Corcoran at Keller Williams Real Estate for the first 2,000 women 18 and older. The IronPigs will also wear commemorative "Pigs Go Pink" jerseys on Sunday and the game-worn uniforms will be auctioned off with all proceeds benefiting Breast Health Services of Lehigh Valley Health Network and IronPigs Charities.
Immediately following Sunday's game, all children 12 and under can show off their speed with the ever-popular Kids Run the Bases post-game promotion presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network.
With the exception of Saturday home games, the Main Gates open 75 minutes prior to game time while the Club Level gates open 90 minutes before scheduled first pitch time.
Fans are reminded that there are three entry points for parking and are encouraged to use the Dauphin Street entrance when traveling from downtown Allentown. In addition to the Dauphin Street entrance, entry to Coca-Cola Park can be gained off American Parkway and Union Boulevard. Preferred/Handicapped Parking access is available via American Parkway only.
The cost of parking for all IronPigs home games is $3 per vehicle.
Single-game tickets, mini-plan packages and group tickets for all IronPigs home games presented by Capital BlueCross, are on sale now and can be purchased at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office, online at www.ironpigsbaseball.com or by calling (610) 841-PIGS.
