The IronPigs (65-56) play the finale of a two-game series against the (tied for) fifth-place Syracuse Chiefs (58-62) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 6-0 win last night, the Pigs have now won six of their last 10 games. Still, the Pigs have gone just 15-21 in their last 36 contests --- going from a season-high 3.0-games up to 2.0-games back in the North... Syracuse -- Washington's top affiliate -- had a three-game winning streak snapped last night. Even so, the Chiefs are 10-6 in their last 16 affairs since July 26.

LHP Tom Cochran (6-4, 4.58) will start for LHV against LHP Zach Duke (12-5, 3.81).

Tonight, the Pigs will wear Woodchucks jerseys -- an annual celebration of "What Could Have Been" Night... First-Pitch is 7:05 p.m...

I'M DREAMING OF A WHITE-WASHING!:

The 6-0 shutout last night marked the Pigs' 9th of the season -- and their first 9-inning shutout since the Dave Bush masterpiece 5/22 vs. LOU (a span of 79 days)...Their previous shutout (7 innings) was completed by Tyler Cloyd on 7/27 vs. NOR-G1... The LHV franchise record for SHO in a season is 12 (2011) and they now have 33 all-time... LHV currently ranks T-4th in the IL with 3 other teams behind IND (12).

* Jonathan Pettibone (22y/0m/22d) became the youngest Pig to start a SHO -- prev. Vance Worley (23y/8m/14d) on 6/8/11.
