The IronPigs (7-2) play Game One of a two-game series against the Rochester Red Wings (5-4) at Coca-Cola Park... With an 8-6 win over the Chiefs last night, the Pigs -- owners of the IL's best record -- swept the three-game series from Syracuse and now have their first three-game winning streak of the season... The Red Wings -- Minnesota's top affiliate -- lost at home last night to Pawtucket, 4-3, and dropped the final two contests of that three-game series. Previously, they had won three straight affairs and were three games over .500 (5-2) for the first time since 5/17/09 -- when they were 19-16 (they had started 5-1 that season).

RHP Scott Elarton (1-0, 0.00) will start for LHV against RHP Samuel Deduno (0-0, 3.60).

Tonight is Faith Night at Coca-Cola Park. First-Pitch is at 6:35 p.m... Tomorrow's homestand finale is slated for 1:35 p.m.

WITH LAST NIGHT'S WIN, THE PIGS...:

* Increased their lead in the North Division to 2.0 games -- their largest lead since they had a 2.0-game lead over PAW on 7/31/11.

* Have their first 3-G winning streak of the 2012 season and first since a season-ending 4-G streak in 2011 (9/2/11-9/5/11)

WITH A WIN TONIGHT, THE PIGS...:

* Will have a franchise-best, 8-G home winning streak (going back to 2011)... The Pigs won 7 straight at home 6/15/09-6/20/09.
