The Wild Card winning IronPigs (80-64; 4-0) play Game Two of a best-of-five series against the West Division champion Columbus Clippers (88-56; 3-1) in the finals of the International League's 79th Annual Governors' Cup Playoffs... With the 5-2 win last night, the IronPigs are a perfect 4-0 in the postseason and have now won eight consecutive games for the first time in franchise history... Columbus -- the Indians' Triple-A affiliate -- swept Durham in the first round after finishing the regular season at 14-14 after August 9. The Clippers are the reigning I.L. champions and led the West from start to finish this season... The two teams play tonight at Huntington Park (7:05 p.m.) before the series shifts to Coca-Cola Park on Thursday (7:05 p.m.) and Friday (7:05 p.m.) and Saturday (6:35 p.m.), if necessary...
RHP Nate Bump (5-9, 4.97) will start for LHV against RHP Mitch Talbot (4-2, 4.26; 1-0, 2.57).
All that Starts Well...: Since 2006, IL teams that have started 1-0 have won in 17 of the last 20 postseason series.
