IronPigs Game Notes
August 15, 2011 - International League (IL1)
Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
After a suspension in the second game last night, the second-place IronPigs (69-53) continue Game Three and then play the finale of this four-game series against the West's last-place Toledo Mud Hens (57-65). With a 2-1 walk-off win in the completion of Friday's suspended game, the Pigs have started 2-0 on this six-game homestand. Still, they've dropped 10 of their last 17 contests and are just 28-29 since June 16... The Mud Hens -- Detroit's top affiliate -- have dumped back-to-back affairs. Once 32-50, the Mud Hens have still gone 25-15 since July 1.
Tonight is Gobblers Cap Giveaway Night, presented by Penn State Lehigh Valley. "First-Pitch" is at 6:05 p.m.
LHV currently leads the Wild Card race, increasing its lead to 2.0 G ahead of GWN and 4.5 G ahead of IND.
