Alex Rodriguez to Rehab at PNC Field

Moosic, PA - Moosic, PA - New York Yankees All-Star third baseman Alex Rodriguez is expected to play a pair of rehab games with the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Yankees at PNC Field on Tuesday, August 16 and Wednesday, August 17, 2011.
Rodriguez has been out of the New York Yankees lineup since tearing the meniscus in his right knee on July 8. He had arthroscopic surgery on the knee on July 11 and had recently begun playing in rehab games at the Yankees Spring Training Complex in Tampa, Florida.
The SWB Yankees open a four game series against the International League South Division leading Durham Bulls beginning on Tuesday. The home stand for the Yankees consists of the four games with the Bulls, Tuesday - Friday, with a first pitch scheduled for 7:05 PM each night.
Tickets for all four game of the home stand are available at the SWB Yankees Box Office located at PNC Field. Fans can also purchase tickets by calling (570) 969-2255 or on line at www.swbyankees.com. The SWB Yankees Box Office is open on all game days beginning at 10:00 AM and will remain open until the middle of the seventh inning. On non-game days the box office is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
