Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

As a result of a rain postponement May 19, the first-place IronPigs (62-47) play a doubleheader tonight to start a three-game series against the third-place Scranton/W-B Yankees (57-50). With a 7-1 loss to Buffalo last night, the Pigs have now dropped four in row following their five-game winning streak and were swept in a two-game home series against the Bisons. The Pigs finished 5-5 on the season-long, 10-game home stand and their lead remains at 2.0-games in the North Division. Still, they've gone 6-5 following a 15-18 skid (6/16-7/20)... The Yankees -- New York's top affiliate -- have lost three consecutive games following a season-high, six-game win streak. Prior to the winning streak, the Yanks had now been more than seven games above .500 since April 27 (14-6)...

Phillies' RHP Roy Oswalt (0-0, 0.00) will start on a ML rehab for LHV in G1 against RHP Lance Pendleton (3-3, 2.96).

LHP Ryan Edell (3-2, 3.79) will start for LHV in G2 against RHP George Kontos (3-3, 2.82).

Tonight starts season-high 11-game road trip that also goes through Durham and Norfolk... First-pitch is 5:35 p.m.
