Iron Man Returns to San Angelo

San Angelo, TX—The San Angelo Saints of the Central Hockey League today announced the re-signing of Kevin Wilson to contract for the 2004-05 season.

Wilson returns to San Angelo after the most successful season of his career in 2003-04. He earned the Iron Man Award after appearing in each of the 64 regular season contests. The 6'0" 180 pound defenseman notched 5 goals, 12 assists and 47 PIMs for the Saints in the regular season, and contributed another point with an assist in post-season play.

"Kevin is a huge part of our defense and I'm really excited to have him back," said Saints Head Coach/Assistant GM Ray Edwards. "He is going to have additional responsibilities this year on the power play and on the offensive side of the puck. Kevin developed so much last year and I know that this will be a big year for him."

A native of Thompson, Manitoba, Wilson began his hockey career at Lake State University. In three seasons with the Lakers, he tallied 6 points and 83 PIMs in 74 contests.
