LAREDO, Texas â The 2004 CHL President's Cup Champion Laredo Bucks are looking for people interested in singing the national anthem for games during the upcoming 2004-05 CHL season. For more information contact Melissa Compean at (956) 791-9192 or log onto www.laredobucks.com.
National anthem singing tryouts will be held on Monday, September 13th and Tuesday, September 14th from 7-8 p.m. at the Laredo Entertainment Center. The tryouts will be held in meeting rooms five and six, interested parties should enter through Gate D.
"This is a very important part of the game," said Bucks Promotions / Game Director Mario Mecaroni. "The national anthem sets the tone for the evening. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic and enjoy performing in front of large crowds."
