BROOKLYN, NY (August 2, 2018) - Behind big offensive nights from Walter Rasquin, Wagner Lagrange, and Manny Rodriguez, the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Short Season, Class A affiliate of the New York Mets, flew past the Aberdeen Ironbirds 13-6 Thursday night in the series opener at MCU Park.

BIG MOMENTS

Walter Rasquin went 2-4, including a three-run, bases-clearing double in Brooklyn's six-run first inning to take a 6-1 lead.

Brooklyn native and current Cyclones shortstop Manny Rodriguez clobbered his first professional home run in the third, pushing the lead to 10-1.

Wagner Lagrange smacked a two-run double in the third inning to give the Cyclones a 12-1 advantage. Lagrange finished with three RBIs. KEY CYCLONES CONTRIBUTORS
