
Field Conditions Postpone CT Tigers-Yankees Game Friday

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Wet field conditions on Friday afternoon forced a postponement of the middle game in a three-game series between the Connecticut Tigers and Staten Island Yankees at Richmond County Bank Ballpark.
The game will now be played Saturday as part of a doubleheader between the Tigers and Yankees beginning at 5 p.m. Both games are scheduled for seven innings.
This is the first time this season the Tigers have been postponed by wet field conditions. Two other Tigers games were postponed by rain and two games were suspended in progress.
