
Iowa's Raterink Voted Week 14 AFL MVP

CHICAGO - Iowa Barnstormers quarterback J.J. Raterink has been voted AFL MVP for Week 14 of the 2014 NET10 Wireless Arena Football League season.
Raterink (6-2, 210, Wyoming) passed for a franchise record 398 yards in Iowa's 56-62 overtime loss to the Tampa Bay Storm in Week 14. "America's Quarterback" completed 34-of-56 passes in the game, accounting for six touchdowns with no interceptions. He has recorded a triple-digit passer rating in all four games played with Iowa this season.
Fans had 24 hours to vote for the AFL MVP award on ArenaFootball.com. Raterink took home 52 percent of the fan vote, beating out fellow candidates Nick Davila of the Arizona Rattlers and Shane Austin of the Cleveland Gladiators.
