Iowa Wild Host Green-White Scrimmage on October 2

Des Moines, IA - The Iowa Wild announced on Thursday the team will host a Green and White scrimmage on Wednesday, October 2nd at 7:05 p.m. The team also announced new start times for two home games.

The Green and White Scrimmage will take place on Wednesday, October 2nd at 7:00 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena. The event is open to the public. Admission is free with the donation of a non-perishable food item (one per person). Seating will be on a first come, first served basis.

As part of the festivities, Iowa Wild Director of Broadcasting Joe O'Donnell will provide on-ice narration throughout the event. Season ticket holders will also be able to pick up their season ticket books this night.

Green-White Scrimmage Schedule

5:30 PM- Doors open to Season Ticket Holders only (season ticket pick-up begins)

6:30 PM- Doors open to the general public

7:00-8:00 PM- Green & White practice and scrimmage

The Iowa Wild also announced new start times for two home games this season. The game versus Rockford on Tuesday, February 25 has moved from 7:05 PM to 5:35 PM CT. The game on Tuesday, March 25th has moved from 7:05 PM to 5:35 PM CT.

The Iowa Wild begins its Inaugural season in October of 2013. Season tickets to see the Wild play at Wells Fargo Arena start at just $9 per game.
