
Iowa sends Crombeen back to Idaho

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads today announced that its American Hockey League affiliate Iowa Stars have sent forward B.J. Crombeen to the ECHL team, effective immediately.
The reassignment marks Crombeen's second to Idaho this season. After being sent down to the Steelheads on January 30th, the 6-foot-2, 215-pound right wing, tallied three points in three games (2g, 1a).
Crombeen was selected in the second round (54th overall) by Dallas in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and on a two-way (AHL/NHL) contract, has tallied 11 points (4 goals, 7 assists) in 38 games with Iowa this season. Prior to this season, the 21-year-old played four seasons with the Barrie Colts in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).
The Newmarket, Ontario native will be in the lineup when Idaho takes on the Condors in Bakersfield for two games beginning Friday (tomorrow) night.
