
Iowa Energy Tie NBA D-League Record with 52 Point Quarter

Des Moines, IA February 24, 2014 - The Iowa Energy tied a NBA D-League record in yesterday's game against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
The Energy trailed 85-73 heading into the final quarter against the Mad Ants. Rallying behind Energy Austin Freeman and Augustus Gilchrist, the Energy scored 52 points in the final quarter and defeated Fort Wayne 125-117. Freeman scored all 19 of his points in the quarter and Gilchrist had 10 of his 16 points in the final quarter as well.
The 52 point quarter by the Energy ties a NBA D-League record that was set in the third quarter on April 8, 2009 by the Colorado 14ers when they played the Albuquerque Thunderbirds.
